2014 Chevrolet Spark
All fans economical car is looking forward to the new 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV. Its previous version was considered to be the smallest economical car ever sold in America. The new version will be even better, this is a small city car, with sympathetic design that is primarily functional.
GM will electric motor for this car built in Maryland, and this engine will power the front wheels of cars that deliver power of 114 horsepower, while the sustained strength will be about 75 horsepower, which is enough for this little city car. Unfortunately this car will be sold in only a few regions in the country, especially in California.
The Chevrolet Spark EV will use a lithium-ion battery pack with cells supplied by A123 Systems, now going through bankruptcy. Chevrolet has not yet discussed the Spark EV’s electric range, battery-pack capacity, projected MPGe rating, recharging time, onboard charger rating. The 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV may, however, be one of the first cars sold in the U.S. to offer quick charging via the new SAE Combo connector.
Don’t be fooled by those “under $25,000” claims. The M.S.R.P. is close to $33,000, including destination charges; Chevy is helping you do the math in the event you meet qualifications for a $7,500 government tax credit by buying an E.V. On sale next year in California and Korea, as the company previously announced; Chevy also says it will be available in Oregon, Canada and other global markets.
